  7. First player = most recently saw one of the 5 wildlife (or random) [p.4 — Setup]

Turn structure

  1. Check for overpopulation: if all 4 tokens are the same, auto-wipe and replace; if 3 are the same, active player may wipe those 3 [p.6 — Turn Summary]
  2. Optionally spend Nature Token(s): take any tile + any token freely, OR wipe any number of tokens and replace [p.6 — Turn Summary]
  3. Select 1 Habitat Tile + Wildlife Token combination [p.6 — Turn Summary]
  4. Place the tile adjacent to your environment (must touch at least one existing tile) [p.7 — Place the Tile and Token]
  5. Place the token on any open tile that shows that wildlife symbol (or return it to the bag) [p.7 — Place the Tile and Token]
  6. If token placed on a Keystone Tile, take 1 Nature Token [p.7 — Place the Tile and Token]
  7. Refill display: 1 tile from stack, 1 token from bag [p.7 — Place the Tile and Token]

Scoring

1. Wildlife Scoring Cards — score each of the 5 species per the 5 active cards [p.8 — End Game & Scoring]

2. Habitat Corridors — 1 pt per tile in your LARGEST contiguous group of each habitat type (5 habitats) [p.8 — End Game & Scoring]

3. Corridor Majorities (per player count):

  • Solo: +2 pts per habitat with largest group ≥7 [p.9]
  • 2P: +2 to largest; tie = +1 each [p.9]
  • 3/4P: +3 largest, +1 second; ties reduce bonus (see tie rules) [p.9]

4. Nature Tokens — 1 pt each for unused tokens [p.8 — End Game & Scoring]

End of game

  • Game ends immediately when no face-down tiles remain to refill the display after a player's turn [p.8 — End Game & Scoring]
  • Each player will have played exactly 20 turns [p.5 — Gameplay Overview]
  • Tally all 4 scoring categories; highest total wins [p.9 — End Game & Scoring]
