When do I get my Dive token?

You get a Dive token when you perform the Dive action in a zone with a Dive site that has tokens remaining.
Details
To obtain a Dive token, you must activate a Specialist (or use a Dive token’s effect) to perform the Dive action in a zone where:
- You have a Vessel present.
- The zone contains a Dive site with at least one Dive token remaining.
When you perform the Dive action, you draw the top token from the Dive site’s stack and reveal it. The token may provide Research, an immediate action, or both. You may use the token’s effects or store it on your player mat for later use (limited to one stored token per turn).
Watch out: If a Dive site runs out of tokens, you cannot perform the Dive action there unless new tokens are added (e.g., via a zone-specific effect or scenario rule).
Dive tokens are initially placed during setup: zones with Dive sites start with a specified number of tokens (e.g., "The Sea Star has a Dive site that starts with four Dive tokens" [p.4 — Setup]). If the token supply is exhausted, the rules allow shuffling discards or using substitutes [p.11 — DIVE TOKENS].
