How do you score Cathedral Perth and similar locations?

Cathedrals like Perth do not directly score points. Placing a Tile adjacent to a Cathedral space lets you claim a Mission Card, which may award points if its condition is met by game’s end.
Details
When a player places a Tile adjacent to a Cathedral space for the first time, they place one of their Cathedral pieces on that space and draw the top Mission Card from the deck [p.4 — CATHEDRALS]. This Mission Card is kept private and may contain a specific objective (e.g., controlling certain Castles, building a number of Farms, etc.). Points are scored at the end of the game if the player fulfills the card’s condition [p.4 — FINAL SCORING].
Cathedrals themselves do not provide immediate or location-specific scoring. The scoring is tied solely to the Mission Cards acquired through them. Each Cathedral space allows only one Mission Card to be claimed per player, and there are eight Cathedral spaces on the Scotland board [p.4 — CATHEDRALS].
Watch out: If multiple players place Tiles adjacent to the same Cathedral space, each can claim a Mission Card on their first adjacency, but the Cathedral space itself does not grant repeated benefits. Only the first adjacency triggers the Mission Card draw.
