When learning a new major power, can i forget a card in the discard pile?
Yes, you can Forget a card from your discard pile when learning a new Major Power.
Paragraph_A When gaining a Major Power, you must permanently lose (Forget) one of your existing Power Cards. This can be done by selecting a card from your hand, discard pile, or even a card currently in play. The Forgotten card is placed into the discard pile of its respective deck (Minor or Major) or set aside if it's a Unique Power. (Page 18: Gaining Power Cards)
Paragraph_B The rule specifies that you can Forget any of your cards, including those in your discard pile. There is no restriction preventing you from choosing a discarded card for this action. (Page 18: What Power Cards Can I Forget?)
