Guilds and Installations
- Each sector has a limited number of spaces for Guilds and Installations (usually 3 each). You can build multiple Guilds or Installations of the same type in a single sector as long as there are free spaces. For example, you can build two Farmers' Guilds in one sector if two Guild spaces are available [p.19 — Guilds and Installations].
- Guilds and Installations must be placed in their designated spaces (Guild tokens in Guild spaces, Installation tokens in Installation spaces), and you must fill spaces from left to right, leaving the Upkeep-marked space last.
Restrictions
- Technologies: You cannot have two identical Basic Technologies. Improved Technologies require owning the Basic version first [p.31 — Improved Technologies].
- Agendas: You cannot have two Agendas of the same type in your Agenda slots [p.32 — Gaining an Agenda].
- Fleets: You can have multiple Fleets of the same type in a sector, but they must be split into separate tokens (e.g., two Corvette Fleets in one sector) [p.21 — Fleets and Fleet Power].
Watch out:
While you can build identical Guilds/Installations in the same sector, sectors have limits on total infrastructure. If a sector’s Guild/Installation spaces are full, you cannot build more there, even if they are the same type.
