How do charge attacks work against psionic enemies spotting through windows?
Quick answer
Charge Attacks work normally against Psionic Enemies; Windows don't prevent the Charge Movement since Psionics treat Windows as Impassable Terrain (blocking Movement but not interrupting it). [p.33 — Enemy Attack]
Details
Charge Attacks allow Enemies to move extra distance before dealing damage. If a Charge Enemy isn't within Range 1 of their target, they move up to their Movement value toward the target before attacking. This Movement can't be interrupted but otherwise follows all Movement rules. [p.33 — Enemy Attack]
Psionic Enemies treat Windows as Impassable Terrain, meaning they cannot Move through them but can draw Line of Sight and measure Range through them. [p.31 — Enemy Types] Since a Window blocks Movement, a Psionic Enemy cannot use their Charge Movement to cross through a Window to reach a Stalker on the other side.
However, if a Psionic Enemy already has Line of Sight to a Stalker (which they can achieve through a Window), they will still perform their Charge Movement up to their Movement value toward that Stalker—they just cannot pass through the Window itself. [p.33 — Enemy Attack]
Watch out: The key distinction is that Psionics can see through Windows but cannot move through them. A Psionic with LoS to a Stalker through a Window will Charge toward them but will stop at the Window, not cross it.
