Do Computers affect each cannon or each ship?
Quick answer
Computers add their total value to every die roll made by that ship, so the bonus applies to each cannon shot individually, not just once per ship.
Details
Each Ship Blueprint's Computer value is a single total, calculated by adding up all Computer symbols on that Blueprint [p.12 — The UPGRADE Action]. When a Ship Attacks, it rolls one die for every Die Symbol (cannon) on its Blueprint, and the Computer total is added to each of those die rolls to determine if it's a Hit [p.19 — Attacking]. This means if a Ship has 2 Computers and fires 3 cannon dice, all 3 dice each get +2, not just one of them.
The same logic applies to Missile fire: for each Ship type with Missiles, you roll one die per Missile Die Symbol, and the ship's Computer total (if any) applies to those rolls as well [p.20 — Missile Example].
Watch out: Computers are a Blueprint-wide total, not tied to a specific cannon. So even if different weapon types (e.g., Ion Cannon and Plasma Cannon) are on the same Ship, the same Computer total boosts all of that Ship's dice rolls, regardless of which weapon fired them.
