The round ends when a player takes the last available Building tile from the board during their turn. After completing their turn normally, players check the Building tile pile:
- If the pile is not empty, a new round is prepared.
- If the pile is empty and it is the end of the 4th round, the game proceeds to the final scoring phase.
This is specified in the rulebook under the "End of the round" section [p.14 — End of the round]. The game is structured into 4 rounds, each concluding when all available Building tiles for that round have been claimed.
Watch out: If the last Building tile is taken mid-turn, the round still ends after that turn completes. Players must finish their current turn before advancing to the next round or ending the game.
