My objective is to kill player 1, How can I do that ?
Quick answer
You cannot directly attack other players due to anti-aggression implants. Indirectly harm Player 1 by trapping them in fire, leaving them with intruders, activating self-destruct, or using area-effect items like grenades.
Details
To fulfill an objective requiring Player 1’s character to die, you must rely on indirect methods, as direct player-vs-player combat is prohibited by the game’s rules [p.23 — ATTACKING PLAYERS].
-
Environmental Hazards: Place Player 1 in a room with a Fire marker. Each turn, characters in burning rooms suffer 1 Light Wound at the end of their turn [p.17 — FIRE]. Accumulating wounds can kill them.
-
Intruders: Trap Player 1 in a room with intruders. Intruders attack characters in the same room during the Event Phase [p.10 — INTRUDER ATTACK]. If Player 1 lacks defenses, repeated attacks will kill them.
-
Self-Destruct Sequence: Activate the self-destruct in the Generator room [p.24 — GENERATOR]. If Player 1 cannot escape before the timer expires, they die when the ship explodes [p.11 — END OF THE GAME].
-
Area-Effect Items: Use items like Grenades or Molotovs in a room where Player 1 is present. These deal damage to all characters in the area, bypassing the anti-aggression implant restriction [p.23 — ATTACKING PLAYERS].
-
Infection: If Player 1 is infected (has a Larva on their board), failing to cure it (via Surgery or Antidote) will eventually kill them. A second infection while a Larva is present triggers instant death, spawning a Creeper in the room [p.21 — CHARACTER WOUNDS AND DEATH].
Watch out: If Player 1 reaches an Escape Pod or hibernates, they survive the game. Ensure they cannot access these options before eliminating them. Additionally, if you control intruders (via the optional Playing as an Intruder mode [p.27]), you can directly target them during your turn.
