When can I place a second tile in Rebirth?

Quick answer

You can place a second tile in one turn only by activating the "Place a second Tile" Round Tower Bonus when you occupy a space adjacent to that tower. [p.8 — Place a second Tile]

Details

The "Place a second Tile" ability is a Round Tower Bonus exclusive to the Ireland side of the game. When you place a tile adjacent to one of the four Round Towers with this bonus, you immediately randomly draw one of the four tiles you placed face-down on your Clan Board during setup, then place that tile following all normal placement and scoring rules. [p.8 — Place a second Tile]

This bonus can only be triggered once per turn. If the second tile you place happens to be adjacent to another "Place a second Tile" Round Tower, you ignore that ability and score only for the tile placement itself—you don't get to place a third tile. [p.8 — Place a second Tile]

Watch out: This ability is only available in the Ireland version of the game (Advanced Mode). The Scotland version has no mechanism for placing multiple tiles in a single turn.
