Can I still complete a goal if the Epoch Progression has advanced?

Yes, Epoch Goals can be completed in any game within the same epoch, even after progression.
Details
Epoch Goals are designed to span multiple games within an epoch. According to the rulebook:
- Epoch Goals "can be completed in this or any subsequent game in the epoch" [p.25 — Continuing Play].
- At the end of each Challenge, unfinished Epoch Goals are set aside and placed back into play during setup for the next Challenge [p.26 — Looming Challenges & Epoch Goals].
This means progression to a new game in the same epoch does not invalidate or remove Epoch Goals. They remain active and completable until achieved or intentionally retired by the group.
Watch out:
Vital Goals (directly tied to the current Challenge) must be completed within that specific game. If the group advances to a new Challenge without finishing a Vital Goal, it is not carried forward. Only Epoch Goals persist across games in the epoch.
