How do i make the setup?

To set up the game, follow these steps:

  1. Determine Roles:

    • Depending on the number of players, take the corresponding number of roles. For example:
      • 4 players: 1 Sheriff, 1 Renegade, 2 Outlaws
      • 5 players: 1 Sheriff, 1 Renegade, 2 Outlaws, 1 Deputy
      • (See the full list on Page 1 under "Preparation")
    • Shuffle these roles and deal one face down to each player.
  2. Reveal the Sheriff:

    • The Sheriff reveals their role by turning their card face up. All other players keep their roles secret.
  3. Assign Characters:

    • Shuffle the character cards and give one face up to each player. Each player announces their character and reads their ability aloud.
  4. Distribute Bullets:

    • Each player takes a number of bullets as shown on their character card. The Sheriff gets two additional bullets. These bullets represent life points.
  5. Prepare Game Components:

    • Keep the summary cards handy for reference.
    • Place the nine arrows in a pile in the middle of the table.
    • Put the remaining roles and characters back in the box.
  6. Start the Game:

    • The Sheriff takes the five dice and starts the game.

These setup instructions are summarized from the "Preparation" section on Page 1 of the rulebook.
